The Hotel Sandos Playacar Beach Resort & Spa Hotel is strategically located a short distance from the ecological water parks of Xcaret (with its underground river, Dolphinarium, botanical gardens and stables) and Xel-Ha, and the archaeological sites of Tulum and Coba.

-Semitropical

-The average annual temperature is 26ºC / 79ºF, and can reach 35ºC / 95ºF in summer.

-During the day it gets very hot so we recommend lightweight clothing.

-For excursions in the jungle, we recommend you wear trousers, long-sleeved shirts and shoes or sandals, and use mosquito repellent.

-At night the temperature drops and we suggest you bring a lightweight sweater or jacket
-In July, August and September, visitors can bask under a spectacular sky.

-From November to April the sky is generally blue and there is a fresh breeze.
